We'll be at OTAKUTHON!
Hello all! We've had the honour of being invited to Otakuthon again this year, Montreal's awesome anime and manga convention. It's taking place at the Palais des Congres in Montreal, Quebec, from August 13th to August 15th!

We'll be stationed at tables 505 and 506 in the Exhibition Hall. The guest area is tucked all the way in the back, behind the dealers and the artists' alley, but we'll try to have a big sign or something broadcasting our existence to the world, so come check us out! We have boatloads of cool pins and some exciting new publications this year, not to mention that our talented artists will be glad to draw you commissions or portraits on the spot. Fun times!

Keep an eye on the website over the next weeks for some special previews of new projects and other surprises!

Otakuthon was awesome!!!
Hey everyone! Just want to thank everybody who came out to make this Otakuthon the most awesome one ever. It was great to see some familiar faces and get to know a lot of new people! Being guests at Otakuthon is always the highlight of convention season and this year certainly did not disappoint. I hope you all had as much fun at the Making Comics workshop and the Exhibition Hall as we did! Extra special thanks to the wonderful Otakuthon staff and organizers who were super considerate and clever and kind. I've been impressed with Otakuthon in the past, but this year was extra impressive - they've almost doubled in size, without losing any of the vibrant energy and close community feeling they had at the beginning. Keep it up, guys! I foresee a great future for this convention. ~ <3

See you all next year I hope,

Website back up
Hi all! Just a quick note to say that our website is back up and operational after a long period of difficulties. The same applies to our forums and email accounts, so if you tried to reach us, there's a good chance we didn't actually hear from you! We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused, and let's keep our fingers crossed that everything stays fine now and that it doesn't happen again in the future! ^_^

Updates and ordering info
Hello,

many of you are writing asking on how to order pins from our store, so we thought we'd give an update. Essentially, it's being tricky for us to setup a Paypal-button ordering system for the pins like we have for the books, only because we have hundreds of different designs. Our web team is working on it, but for now, the only way to place a pin order is to email us. So for your reference, here's a nifty step-by-step ordering guide!

1. Click the 'Contact Us' link on the left of the page and pick the 'Orders' option, or email orders [at] musebasement [dot] com directly.

2. Let us know which pins you want, and how many of each, ideally by in-game number. If a pin you want is not already in our catalogue, we'll be happy to make it, but there's a 1$ setup fee and approximately 1 week's delay to your order per new pin, since we need to draw them. Our full up-to-date catalogue is available at http://www.musebasement.com/pins.php.

3. We'll get back to you as soon as we're able to, with a price quote.

4. Payment can be done by Paypal, credit card, or money order if the other two are impossible.

5. Once payment is received, we'll make the pins that need making and ship as soon as the order is ready. Delivery takes about 1-2 weeks within Canada and the continental USA.

You can always check the pin FAQ, available at http://www.musebasement.com/pin_faq.php.

Hope this helps, and happy shopping!

Happy Holidays (and unhappy delays)
Hi everyone!

The snowy season is upon us again, and with it, holiday cheer! The best of the season to you all. We've been having topsy-turvy times here at MUSEbasement over the last few months, causing a bunch of unfortunate delays in emails and shipments, for which we sincerely apologize. I'm pleased to say though that things are caught up now! Every pin order that has been paid for will have been shipped by the end of today at the latest.

Regarding pin orders: the shop remains open for you to order any The World Ends With You pin you might like. Special orders (i.e., pins from the game that aren't yet in our catalogue) are still fine, but starting from now special orders come with a little caveat: that we WILL do them is a promise, but we can't promise any specific timeframe for your order. It will depend on the availability of our artists, since we draw each pin by hand and it takes a lot of work. So, if you're fine with getting them eventually (if maybe not very soon), then by all means make all the special orders you like! :3 If time is an issue though, we recommend you stick to the in-stock list, that you should find in our store page.

And we still have a few Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann drill necklaces in stock, too!

Thanks a lot for your understanding, and happy holidays!!

Pin orders?
Hi everyone,

As some of you may know, we've been making cool little one-inch pins lately based on the video game The World Ends With You. We have lots of designs already, but if you want any custom orders, let us know! Any in-game pin is fair game. We'll have them next weekend at Otakuthon, particularly, but there are shipment possibilities if you're not in Montreal. Click on the "Contact Us" tab if you want details!
