About Us

Simon Gannon and A.E. Prevost have been making comics together since 2001. In 2005, they added assistants to their team to found MUSEbasement, a comics and manga studio operating out of Montreal, Canada. With interests spanning Eastern and Western styles, the team's numerous artists and interns now work on multiple projects, both original and fan-based. In 2008, we complemented our roster of self-published works with pins, prints, and other merchandise created by our artists. Additionally, a key part of MUSEbasement's mandate is encouraging a growing community of sequential artists and educating the public at large about making comics, which is accomplished through workshops and lectures at conventions, schools, and beyond. We like traveling to anime conventions, so if you want to see us at one near you, why not try to get us invited? We'll be happy to go!
